Hi from Pahrump, Nevada
Well, we are in Pahrump, NV, we made it back. We had a wonderful trip back East this year. We have been on the road since April seeing family and friends. We will stay at our winter resort and enjoy the holidays with our immediate family and friends. Tomorrow I start my first water aerobics class for the next couple of months. I have been looking forward to joining the class again and seeing some of the ladies I met last winter. The RV park is nearly full with all the snow birds that have returned for the winter. People usually stay until February or March at the latest and then move on. We look forward to planning our next trip!!
Congrats Jon made the Varsity Team
We visited our daughter in Kingman, AZ for a few days. Our grandson, Jonathon, was stressed about making the varsity team. He called the day before he left and said he was just picked for the Varsity team. He was so excited! He told his Mom, "this was a good day"! Not only had he made the team, but his class ring, came that same day!! I guess it was a good day!! Congratulations, Jon, Keep up the great work in school and on the team!!! We love you!!

Grand Canyon Lookout
Grand Canyon IMAX
The last time we visited the Grand Canyon, we took a train ride from the Rail Way RV Park to the Grand Canyon. This time we visited the IMAX theatre and saw a movie of the Grand Canyon. The IMAX theatre's create the sensation that "you are there"! We actually went to the top and the bottom of the canyon. What a thrill of a ride!

Pima Air & Space Museum
A must to see in Tucson is the Pima Air and Space Museum. Jerry and his son, Gary, tour the museum each time we visit. It is the second largest air museum in the US. On our recent visit we were also able to obtain a tour of the military "bone yard" where used, damaged and obsolete aircraft are stored. Air force jets and fighter jets are stored there.
Agua Caliente Park
The grand kids in Tucson live about five minutes from this park, that was recently acquired by the County. It is their favorite place to go and feed the ducks and ride their bikes. It has quite a history also. At least two springs were noted historically at Agua Caliente Ranch, one hot and one cold. The hot spring is reported to have exceed 100 degrees F. in the 1930s however, the two springs were dynamited into one in an attempt to increase the surface flow, resulting in a single warm spring of 87 degrees F. today the spring supports three large ponds by means of interconnected canals; the earliest of these apparently dates to about 1873-74 when it was developed as a reservoir for livestock and crop irrigation. The Aqua Caliente spring became well known as a place of reliable water to cattle ranchers, travelers, and the military.

Greetings from the Reid Park Zoo
Jerry and I and his son, Gary, spent Halloween day at the Reid Park Zoo. They had a great variety of zoo animals. We have visited several zoos and this one is very, very nice compared to some. The animals are quite used to having their pictures taken. The turtle even smiled really big at me and I told him to smile. The giraffe was a real ham, loved to eat biscuits and pose. He is the baby of the zoo, two years old.

Grandkids showcase their Karate skills
We were kept very busy with the grandkids in Tucson, AZ. There was something scheduled for almost every day and night. They could hardly wait for us to watch them at their Karate class. Jesse (on the blue mate) had her class the first hour and Katie the second hour. They have Karate twice a week and everyone gets involved, grand parents and parents take their turns in making sure the girls get to class.
