This will probably be the last snow we will see this year. It is always beautiful driving along the Truckee River and through Donner Pass. However, we are looking forward to seeing sunshine soon!!

Meeting with the Governor of California
While working for the 34th Assembly District, I had the pleasure of going to Sacramento several times. This particular time it was to attend the District Fly In. This was a time for all the Assembly District Offices to get together to meet and greet, including Governor Arnie, also known as the terminator. He met with our group and gave us his goals and his expectations. Not everyone has a picture with the Governor of their State.
Sacramento Capitol
I always wave as we go through Sacramento and say hi to Sam, my Chief of Staff, while working for the 34th Assembly District. I just couldn't resist and had to pick up the phone to catch up on old times!! It's always fun to hear the latest gossip. Good luck on your new job too, Sam!! (Who is also working for a new Assembly Member). My how things can change so quickly. While in Visalia, I had lunch with several of my friends and colleages. Norma, who is still working for the 34th Assembly District, as always, had lots to say and so much fun. Since I'm now retired she even bought lunch as she did so often while working with her. She is the only original staff member as we have all moved on. We had a great team!
The Barker Bunch
It's always fun to visit the Barker bunch! They are definitely a family of the go!! Logan's first baseball practice of the season.
JJ had a BACA meeting that evening. Mom, report card time!! Destinee getting ready for graduation. Bailey said she's taking a break from swimming tournaments this summer. With Dusty going away to school this will probably be the last time we will see them all together for a while. Thank you for all the good meals!! See you next time wherever that may be.

Fremont Street Experience
We had a great night out on the strip to see the Fremont Street experience. Each night on the hour lights go out and the sky lights up with beautiful scenes, such as fish swimming in the sky aquarium, jets flying over, and much more. Our kids joined us at the beautiful Main Street Station for a fabulous buffet.
