Hawaiian Dancers
These beautiful Hawaiian dancers were part of the Elvis show. They were a great addition to the show. At Christmas they put on their own show, "Hawaiian Christmas". The costumes were beautiful and of course very colorful. The two Hawaiian men singers, also brothers, joined Elivis sing two great gospel hymns from his only gospel album.
Night Out with Elvis
While in Laughlin, spent an evening with an old friend and family.
Elvis is 72 years old and as you can see still going strong.
We were joined by Jack and Sandy Mayberry and a great time was had by all. We had front row seats and Jerry took several pictures. Young Elvis did a great job with his father. He has been performing since he was 3 years old, now six. This was the last night to the "Tribute to the King". Great fun!

Burros Take Over Oatman, AZ
Last Stop Prior to Entering California for Dustbowl Migrants
Jerry's Mom and Dad traveled Route 66 and stayed a night in a cabin at Cool Springs, AZ on route to California in late 1941. The old Mobil service station today is a tourist attraction. It was a beautiful day in the mid 70's. We saw many bikers on this road. Thousands of bikers converge on Laughlin, Nevada.

Santa and Santa's Helper visits Ginger Christmas Day
On Christmas Day my children and Grandchildren, Jerry and I had Christmas dinner with Mom at the Senior Retirement Center. Only to be interrupted by Santa and his helper, which turns out to be my oldest brother, Tim and his wife, Sharyn. Was Ginger (Grandma) surprised. Santa had brought her gifts and many laughs. She had a wonderful Christmas with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the envy of many at the home, some of which had no family. A Christmas for her to remember!!
Burros Red Rock Canyon
Finally, on our last trip into Las Vegas we saw the burros. They look like they were justing waiting to take their pictures. They stood and posed for some time.
Preferred RV Park, Pahrump, NV
We bought into this park a few years ago. We enjoy it, the price is right. We are allowed 35 days a year free in our contract.
We stayed a few weeks here in December. It has a lot of activities if a person were to really get
into it!! Several people go back year after year. It takes us approximately one hour to drive into Las Vegas from here. Each trip we made, it seemed like it got shorter and shorter!!
Snow Again, Pahrump, Nevada
We just left snow in Washington,
only to get to
Pahrump, Nevada,
and guess what?
We could hardly wait to get to Vegas to enjoy some warmer weather. Ha ha! This is the road we travel each time we go into Vegas to see family. Beautiful but cold!! It lasted for about three days!! It did finally get a little warmer!!

Big Brother and Family
Earlier Christmas Eve we visited my brother Tim and Sharyn, wife, and son Jason, and his wife, Chelsey. Tim and Sharyn are so proud grandparents to be. I was told I had better go see big brother as every time I go to Vegas I see everyone BUT him. Not true Tim!! It was fun visiting with your family and seeing the ultra sound of your new grandson!! Happy New Year!!!
Christmas Eve 2006 with Jerry & Kim & kids
It was a real pleasure to spend Christmas Eve with Jerry & Kim and Zach and Ashley. The kids could hardly wait to get dinner over with so the could open their presents.
They always have something going on in that household. Zach is in wrestling this year and doing so well in school. Keep up the good work Zach. Ashley is growing so fast and so much fun! Jerry's big project was really overwhelming, remodeling the master bathroom. I can see where Kim will be escaping to. Happy New Year to all of you!! Thank you for letting us share Christmas Eve with you!! We love you.
