Branson Bell

When visiting Branson, we recommend you spend an evening on the Branson Bell Showboart. This was a three hour tour with dinner and entertainment. We had a lot of fun and would do it again.

Acorn Acres RV Park

Acorn Acres was a very pretty picturesque RV park where we stayed a week in Branson, MO. As you can see the storm shelter warning had us concerned as we checked in, however, we never had to use it. We would definitely return to Branson and also stay at this park. Jerry's retired law enforcement buddy and his wife joined us on this trip. It was fun listening to their undercover stories of years past.

Sallisaw, OK

Jerry's dad was born in Sallisaw, OK. and also his mother. This was the first time he (we) have ever been to that part of the country. That part of the country, at least this time of year, was absolutely beautiful. We traveled 1-40 which was a very good road to travel. This struck up many conversations with his mother. The main roads were like driving down country roads.

Leaving Pahrump

The snowbirds are finally leaving Pahrump after being there for the winter. The summers are very hot and alot of them are heading for cooler climates. The RV resort ended the season by having a Luau and wished all the visitors safe travels. We met alot of really nice folks. There are alot of Canadians that stay at Preferred each year. Our RV site was next to three Canadian families who stay each year from November to February. We said goodbye and hope to see them next year.
