We stayed at Roosevelt State Park in Mississippi after we left Birmingham, Alabama. It was the only pull through in the park. The park was very pretty, it also had several amenities that state parks don't usually have. It had a lodge, boating, swimming, hiking, golfing, and store. There were several families camping for the weekend.
The Mississipi Welcome Center is the nicest rest stop we have seen so far this trip. The attendant at the front desk offers coffee or a cold drink and visits with each person that walks in the door. The furnishings were a true picture of southern living.
