Heidi's Beautiful Horse Blankets

One of the talents of Heidi, our Alabama friend, is making horse blankets. Heidi crochets these beautiful reversible and washable horse blankets. The most fun for the person receiving it is, a person can choose the colors. Her daughter and her friend have several horse blankets that Heidi has made. I asked her to make one for my daughter, as she loves to ride, and she rides one of her horses in shows. This is the finished blanket for my daughter and I'm sure she will love it. Thank you Heidi for all your hard work, it is beautiful!!

Fall has Arrived

We are very excited to see the fall colors in the next week or two. We are getting ready to have some new friends over we have met since we have been here in Alabama for a BBQ and sit around the campfire. It is always great to meet new people.

Heidi's New Class C

Heidi is an adventurer by heart. She loves to go and see things. We told them to get a motorhome and join us. She found this Class C for sale in Rogersville and it has all the conveniences she says she needs. It's a one bedroom, no kitchen, since she doesn't like to cook, light bars so she can move through traffic more easily and keep up with us. She is sure she can drive this one. This might be the one!! Go for it Heidi!

The Harness Riverview Estates

Our friends beautiful home is built on an acre lot. What a beautiful view in their back yard. Some of the homes are built on the lake however, everyone has lake access in their homeowners association. We felt like we are at the big house!! Thanks Charles and Heidi for letting us camp in your front yard.

Fried Pickles

A new delicacy we tried is fried pickles. Tastes somewhat like fried green tomatoes. They were very good especially with ranch dressing. Our first meal in Alabama. Not bad!
