This was ladies day out. Women love this quaint little town of Kimmswick. Everyone goes to Kimmswick to eat at the Blue Owl Restaurant. These are the lovely Johnson girls and their Mom, and it looks like my sister and I even got in this one. As a going away gift to the Johnson ladies, the Garrison campground treated them to lunch, anything on the menu. Did they ever like that! Paula Deen has many of her recipies and pastries cooked here. The soups and desserts are soooo good!! Driving time from Steelville is approximately an hour and a half. But that is nothing to have a wonderful meal and a day out!!
