Old Mill Square

The Old Mill is functioning today just as it did when it was built in the 1800's, and is the most photographed in the country. The Old Mill is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Old Mill Square is a working example of the Smokies' pioneer days where you'll find a variety of craftspeople practicing their trades every day. We saw beautiful pottery made by in-house potters, they mixed the clay, sculpted each piece, glazed and fired each one. The Square is also home to the Creamery, Potting Shed, Toy Bin and Farmhouse Kitchen. The Square was beautifully lit in the evenings as we strolled through the shops enjoying the homemade ice cream.

Blackwood Brothers Breakfast & Show

One of the attractions we saw while in Pigeonforge, AL was the Blackwood Brothers Breakfast & show. We enjoyed the harmonious and inspirational sounds of the Blackwoods and a full country breakfast. It has been many years since we enjoyed the gospel music by any of the Blackwoods. We really enjoyed the music, and of course went away with a handful of CD's. R.W. Blackwood gave us an offer we couldn't refuse! We had a great time!

Creekstone Inn, Pigeonforge, TN

We went to Pigeonforge, TN to see the Great Smokey Mountains, the last few days we spent with Heidi and Charles. We stayed at Creekstone Inn along the river. It's been a long time since we have stayed at hotel, we really missed our bed in our motorhome. But, we still had a lot of fun!!
